A beautifully restored river stay, the original homestead was built in 1914 and is said to be the original site of the Bookpurnong Post Office long before the locks were constructed. The property is located on a lagoon system called Ajax-Achilles and the lawns of the River Block offer waterfront access for canoeing or enjoying a picnic.
