Our Story

Proud Riverland locals and passionate Murray River champions, Tony and Susie Sharley launched their award-winning Murray River Walk in 2016.

Their passion for creating world-class nature-based experiences on their own stretch of river in South Australia, has now grown to include two more exciting Murray River experiences - Murray River Safari and Murray River Escapes.

Now known as Murray River Trails - our guiding team love sharing their knowledge about the region on our immersive multi day river journeys, right here on one of the most beautiful sections of river country in South Australia where Australia's river oasis meanders through the outback.

Our tours provide us with an opportunity to share the stories of Australia's greatest river, the Murray; its remarkable journey, its Aboriginal culture, its wildlife and landscapes and its pioneers and innovators, inspiring environmental stewardship, fabulous local food and award winning Riverland wine. All combine to raise the profile of Australia's greatest river.
